Retaining Wall

It is easy to produce curves and arches with insulbricks.

By establishing a means of containing the flow of concrete, shapes such as arches and round windows are easily achieved.

Curves are achieved by cutting the insulbrick so it can be bent to the desired curve. The more you cut away from the insulbrick the greater the curve.
1. Arches are easily achieved by containing the flow of concrete within the shape you wish to produce.
2. Metal flashing can be used to prevent the flow of concrete, creating the desired shape.
3. After the shape has been cut, the metal flashing positioned, the cut piece is replaced and the concrete poured.
4. This procedure can be used for almost any shape including round windows
5. Internal curved feature wall
6. Curved external walls
